I am writing to comment on a very positive experience that I had with your bakery this past weekend.  I came in on Friday, April 25 to order a cake to pick up on Sunday.  Michael took the order and was very careful to “get” what it was that I was looking for.  The cake was a congratulations cake for our Upper School musical – Once On This Island.  He was thoughtful enough to go over to the other building to check with the decorator about my request, etc. before we finished the order.  Having placed the order, I left feeling confident about it. 

I was more than pleased on Sunday when I picked up the cake.  It was absolutely beautiful.  The designer did an incredible job interpreting my idea for this cake and making it a reality.  The students loved the cake and commented that it was the perfect ending to the run of the show.  To Michael and to the decorator, thank you!

I just wanted to let you know I ordered a cake from you last week for my daughter's birthday.  We just moved here from New Hampshire and she was bummed that we wouldn't be able to order her cake from her favorite bakery we went to in the past.  We were told by family to try your bakery and you didn't disappoint.  My daughter loved her cake and so did everyone else in the family.  Your decorating was just beautiful.  Thanks so much!

I just wanted to pass along a little note to let you know my husband thinks your donuts are incredible.  I think they are the "tiger" donuts.  I am really not sure but we live in Avalon and my husband drives to Oakmont just to buy "goodies" at your bakery.  He came home the one day and explained to me he just spent $150 on donuts.  I asked him how in the world he could spend $150 on donuts.  Well he was on his way to work when he had a "craving" for one of your donuts.  He did not want to show up late for a meeting so he drove fast to get to your bakery and then to work on time--He got a speeding ticket.  I asked him if it was worth it and he said yes.  My husband is a VERY picky eater so if he likes going to Oakmont just to go to your bakery--you must be doing something right. I am not a "sugar" eater so I have yet to try one of your donuts.  I am not sure what else you may have as I have never been to your bakery and my husband only buys your donuts.  I just wanted to thank you--since my husband is very picky with what he eats, it is sometimes hard to make things for him.  If he wants to drive to Oakmont to buy donuts, I will not stop him.  I am happy he found something he likes.

To all at Oakmont Bakery,

My mother and I just hosted a baby shower for my sister this past Saturday.  We used Sassy Razzy and custom decorated Parrot Head cupcakes to create the most amazing cupcake tree center pieces and they were the hit of the shower.  Not only were they incredibly beautiful, but they were also uniquely delicious.  When our guests said “They’re too pretty to eat!” we replied “They’re too good not to!”.

I have attached a few pictures of the cupcake trees so you can enjoy seeing your hard work pay off.  Thank you for helping us create something so special for our special event.

To Whom It May Concern,
I have to write to let you know we have been celebrating Mardi gras here at work for uncountable years. We have received King Cakes from New Orleans (shipped overnight to us). This is our first year getting our King Cakes from Oakmont Bakery and they received rave reviews. All agreed that is was much better than the ones we have received from New Orleans, where you would think they would have the best. I purchased the cinnamon and raspberry, my personal favorite was the cinnamon. YUMMY! As I was at the bakery I noticed the Paczki and I purchased the Pittsburgh Cream (My Favorite), Raspberry, Custard and Blueberry. There are not many bakeries that make Paczki in the Pittsburgh area and we were in awe over these!
I have had several of your products over the years; some of my favorites are the Oakmonter, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Peanut Butter Fudge Delight, Boston Cream Cake, Carrot Cake, Caramel Torte and many many more! I wish I could use your bakery more often as I work near the airport and it is a bit out of the way.
Anyhow, I have to thank you for making myself and coworkers happy every now and then!

I am from Cincinnati, OH and I visited your bakery last year with a family who has lived in Oakmont for a very long time (80 years I think).  They insisted that I go to the bakery before I left town! Well let me just say that I wish that I had gone on the first day and not the last because I would have been there every day!

From the moment the first telephone call was made to the bakery,  to placing the order, we had received excellent customer service.  When the bride to be called to make an appointment to discuss and have a cake testing and explained she was from the other side of the state, the staff accommodated her need for a date and time to meet with her when she would be in town.  The competition suggested stopping by and picking up some cake slices and make an appointment for another time. The staff provided superior service and much time on a busy Saturday evening to answer questions.  As I watched the regular customers being greeted and assisted, it seems this is the norm at Oakmont Bakery.  Thank you Oakmont Bakery for a wonderful experience, and that was before we tasted the sample cakes!  You won our hearts at "hello".

Dear Oakmont Bakers,

It is a very good thing for me that I live over half an hour away...Last Friday I ventured in to pick up my gourmet cinnamon rolls order and bought some of your cheese bread pizza with artichokes and tomatoes...WOW!!  and I picked up some garlic bread sticks...another WOW!!  Not to mention a couple of chocolate cream filled donuts found their way into my order.  It is very difficult not to buy at least one of everything while shopping in your bakery.
Granted if your products were not good I would tell you that also...But I have to keep telling you when everything is just SO!! Good!!
